laptop hard drives

I need to invest in a new hard drive for my lap ptop as on of them self destructed recently
I was looking at something like this

I will only say. Never had an issue with a seagate drive. Sure they get a bit hot but at least they dont f**k you over at worst possible time.

cheers Notorious P.I.G . I have had seagate before, but always for desktop pc.

My laptop is more of a desktop replacement so i need a bit more speed.

It would cost more, but a solid state drive would certainly be much faster, quieter, and more reliable.

Be careful with what SSD you pick, they may be quieter but some of them have atrocious read/write speeds.
