Hello I just got my hands on cs 4 and ive been eager to test 2 big things.
1 being its 3d paint application and 2 being its networking.
now for the 3d painting side Ive figured out how to use the tools and move and such and I Was testing on a base mesh I had uv unwrapped to paint on...
but my question is how do you have it transfer to the uv unwrap and bake what you have painted on it?
I cant seem to figure that part out.
2: with networking does this work with 3d models as well? I dont know anyone else who has cs4 as this point so I cant test much of anything just yet.
Anyone whos played with it , it would be awesome to get some input!

Another document should appear showing the UV- spaced texture - save that one and you have your texture
or did I misunderstood your question?
B.) you mean loading or openeing files from a local network e.g LAN ?- why not. I am not sure though if your 3d model gets updated if you reopen the PS file. At least not if the 3d file is modified outside
personally I think the navigation and performance are yet a disaster- it already went horrible slow on my computer with a low poly model - I dont want to imagine how it behavse with a regular mesh.
