Ugh sorry... I am
still feverishly sweating the release of Diablo 3 and making threads about it...
Anyway, I did find something cool I wanted to share. You may know Blizzard announced the first 3 of the 5 classes for Diablo 3: The Barbarian, the Witch Doctor, and most recent, the Wizard.
So, what do you think of the revealed classes?
What do you think the 4th and 5th classes will be?
And I'm just curious, what would you make the next classes be?
You may remember hearing about how Diablo 3's Art Director, Brian Morrisroe, had left to found a company of his own, outside the games industry. As far as I had heard, Diablo 3's new Art Director is Christian "Liquid" Lichtner, the bad ass comic book artist dude.

I was looking at Chris's DeviantArt gallery and found his most recent entry pretty interesting.
"Just for fun, dusting off the cobwebs."
For those that would hope for a Paladin class, this would have to be a pretty accurate guess as to what it would look like.

that is one tiny head hahaa
Fixed.
I'm still really excited about the wizard.
I wonder if they'll do a healing class, or maybe some kind of stealth assassin...
Wizard - Magic
Witch Doctor - Support Magic
????????? - Support Melee (Paladin)
????????? - Oddball (Amazon/Assassin/Druid)
That would be the classic balance.
What I'd like to see is a Paladin-type that's even more group support focused than before. Auras, healing, combat bonuses from teamwork, etc.
but yeah, blizzard did say there will be no other returning classes, which does kinda make me happy, because new classes have potential to be our new favorites!
i'm super excited for this game. damn.
But this seems to be the direction Blizzard is going for all their games.
Since the Witch Doctor seems to be D3s version of the Necro i guess i wont se a Necro this time around.
What if you could play as a descended archangel? ive always liked the look of them.
About the classes, I think it's annoying how Blizzard sloooowly leaks this kind of info. They show three classes and leave us wondering about the other two, just to string along the hype. It's not like all the extra fanboy angst is needed to drive sales, yeah?
Heck yeah. I've played a couple of DND paladin and cleric characters, all of whom look suspiciously like Trael from D2
