I'm home depressingly early from my New Years Eve festivities (I can even still type. How sad) so I thought I'd swing by and wish you all a happy new year for whenever it happens to occur in your particular area of the world and all of the best for the next 12 months.

My New Year's Eve will be considerably more depressing Jack, so don't get too down ;P

much ie the entrance fee was quite small, if at all.
Where I come from people would open up their houses and invite you in for a drink, which was
great, buffet too:)
But now, some pubs don't even open , the ones that do can charge upwards of 20 quid
entrance fee.
Then there is getting home after. Taxis charge 2 or 3 times normal. looks like a night in front of
the gogglebox.

I was going to drink some delicious Canadian Icewine to bring in the new year, but I forgot to put it in the fridge and it's meant to be served chilled, so it'll have to wait till tomorrow. Ah well...
