Stylus to turn MacBook touchpad into a graphics tablet?

Just read about this on Wired: http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2008/12/pogo-stick-turn.html

Pointless or genius? I always wondered why laptop touchpads haven't got graphics tablet capabilities anyway, surely it can't be too hard to integrate? Maybe this is a step in the right direction for casual artists, rather than pro's, because pro's need more space and angle sensitivity and suchlike.

My guess would be it would be nothing more than a toy. I don't assume you will be able to get any pressure sensitivity out of it and I bet your control will be not as precise as you would like.

perhapss pointless as a sketching device but might be a nice, more accurate way to use a laptop trackpad? that is if it does have mouse buttons.

Wacom lists a few tablet pc's with wacom tech in them.

I've been looking at a 12" hp laptop with a wacom setup
