The Art of Halo 3

My wife picked this up for me for Xmas. Man what an awesome book. Being a huge halo fan she knew this would be a good choice for me. I am impressed. Bungie really stepped it up with their art and this book is amazing.

Hardcover, shot break downs in the back of the book, great pages filled with awesome art and hardly any text except for some break downs and descriptions.

A must pick up for anyone that collects art books. I know a lot of you guys do so this is a nice addition to the coffee table, book shelf, work cube, whatever.

If you do have it let me know your thoughts.

Looks interesting, as a collector of such books I'll probably pick it up, even though I'm not much of a Halo fan...

haha my wife, son and I had our Christmas here at home early since we are going home to see family so we didn't want to bring stuff with us. So I was lucky to get to open my stuff from her early.

I still think she made out better though with those crazy ass UGG boots I got for her so her feet don't get cold here in Wisconsin.

Did this just come out? Odd that its a year later and not something included with special editions when the game came out last winter. The extra book that came with my special edition was incredibly weak.

I got teh book too...it is PACKED with concept art. I think there must be 5 pieces per page, exception being the Environment art. :poly115:

I'm planning to use this inspiration wisely...

ahhh that sucks, env concepts always seem to take back seat in art books. oh well, im sure its still super awesome and inspirational, good to hear its jam packed though

Quite wrong in this case...the reason there isn't 5 per page there is because it takes up about 30% of the entire book.

Yeah got more time to look through this book before I left on vacation and my god what a nice art book. One of the favs on my shelf now. Great work inside for sure.
