I'm currently working on a character for my Low Poly Class and am looking to get some feedback. I don't feel like waiting until class to see what people think so I came here.
Just a quick rundown of the project since what I inted to do may have an effect on your suggestions... I have to make 3 different models of my character. One medium poly (7000ish polys), one high poly with no maximum number of polys, and one low (700 polys I think). We are making the medium in Max, exporting that to Zbrush where we will make our high poly as well as normal maps for the medium and low poly models. And then finally using the Topology tool to make the low poly model.
I'm planning on eventually (not for the class) doing a facial rig for this character. I know I'm going to need to do eyes and a mouthbag but I've never done a character that wasn't low poly enough to just texture on eyes and such so any suggestions or directions towards tuts about that would be appreciated.

Here is an update on the character, body included this time. In terms of the project, I"m done modeling him. I'd like to spend time tweaking and getting him perfect but time is of the essence. I will however be coming back to him next week once all my classes are over.
