Gameloft Montreal - Senior Logo/Pack Artist

By joining our art department, you will become responsible for the graphic design of our games’ visual identities during both the design phase and the follow-up phase when the graphics team works on packs. Your job will mainly consist of designing logos, packaging, page layouts, and the global identity of our games in collaboration with the production team (2D and 3D graphics).
We are looking above all for people who are versatile and prompt (self-taught is acceptable). Your projects will consist of developing the visual identities of video games for mobile phones, Nintendo DS, Xbox Live Arcade, and so on.
Your profile
- You are passionate about video games.
- You are a trained GRAPHIC DESIGNER who is familiar with the rules governing the various forms of visual communication, for the creation of LOGOS, PACKAGING, and GLOBAL VISUAL IDENTITY.
- You are versatile and capable of using various software tools to accomplish the tasks assigned to you.
- You have completely mastered Photoshop (and/or other drawing software).
- You have some knowledge of classical drawing and are good at sketching (illustration and comics experience are welcome).
- You have an excellent artistic vision and are up-to-date with current visual trends, such as those used in television, film, websites, games, and so on. You can visually present ideas based on instructions and marketing requirements from project leads.
- You can put together roughs (sketches) for composition (either in a traditional manner or in compositing) to create mock-ups (proposals) to be used for preliminary decision-making with the creative and marketing teams.
- Knowledge or mastery of 3D software is a plus.
- You have an experienced/senior profile (minimum two years of experience in graphic design). You are autonomous and dynamic.
