go with MX510, i had that mouse so long, the little rubber lumps under it was worn down so much the belly scraped against the table, which is why i bought a new one.
seriously sturdy mouse, never had any other problems with it.
the 518 replaced the 510. The 510 also came in red and black..
Like I said I use the mX Revolution and it's just amazing. Fits perfectly in my hand and i've got big hands but my wife loves it as well. Tons of customizable buttons and they are actually in useful areas.

there seems to be another mouse around, the MX 518, not sure if its a successor to the MX510, or if its got one of those horrid tilt wheels.
