Hey all,
Can someone tell me a way to map vector work onto a 3d object and then save it in vector again?
I do not mean a vector render as that doesn't render texture maps. ( not that i know of )
Is there a software out there , or a way in maya to keep it vector all the way along and get an ai file in the end?

Btw. the shoe industry works alot with rhino and they have alot of such situations where they construct in 3d their shoe and need to cut out the leather shapes for the final construction. Rhino offers great tools for such tasks
