Looking for critique. I have camelot references, dark age references, with a mix of fantasy art. Including nature and solid rock is what i am going for.
1) The textures looks kindof cartoony and photoshoppy, try desatgurating the green mossy color.
2) the left pillar looks like it has a texture seam going right down the middle of it
3) The materials don't make much sense on the archway. Is it a giant slab of stone? What is the material on top of it made of? Painted stone? The tops of the pillars are brown in color, which kindof contrasts the matrials that it sits on top of but not in a way that says 'interesting contrast' but more like 'what the heck is it made of'
4) The silhouette is kindof boring... try exaggerating it a bit more... heavier bases on the pillars, etc.
You've got a decent prop here, but nothing about it says 'interesting' and the texture you have on it right now just says 'photoshop' Keep working on it sir! Get those textures looking good and really make this thing pop.
yeah, it's a form of wood piping. Foliage is a good idea. Adding pointed shrubs on the ground and some alpha masked leaves and vines were on my mind too.

Material on top is wood. A wood layer above a slab of stone. Should I break that slab into 3 Pieces. left middle right with something indicating they're held together?

I want to change it into a gray color. More stone like.
Good. I like this a lot. These will be what should be different next screenshot update
this by itself is no hero prop though, just kinda blah. could use some extra texture love. And agreed on the foliage
yeah, for real. It's apart of a larger scene. it's an entry way for a courtyard. Not really meant as a hero piece but I want to work on each piece separately so overall it looks good.
I want to put more color and try to get away from that photoshop look i got bugging me
