Heyo all, Joris and I decided we'd team up for this one!
we're doing a vegetable zombie onslaught!!1!

Anyway, I did some quick concept sculpts to get the idea for the forms and character. Maybe that's weird for super low poly things, but i like to whenever i can.

I got a base for our female survivor, but I'm just dicking about for accessories and silhouettey things until we get the environment plan nailed.

Indecom: actually, since I already had a base of the colors in zbrush I could use zapplink from several angles to transfer a lot of the colors so that after a bit of cleaning I had a pretty decent base to start with minimal seams. Then I could just do the tightening and fine detail stuff and cleanup from the resolution loss.
I'm texturing up the survivor chick - hopefully I'll have time for another survivor after I finish her up. I need to get crackin' on the corn too!
the veggies are baked down and then overpainted in the flats for finishing?
yeah, that's basically it, shimmer. It's been a pretty easy way to get a pretty nice base this way
I got the corn going now too, but it doesn't look right without someone to suck the face off of!
