So, not only do I have a good idea, but I have a pointless story to go with it.
A couple of guys from work and I were playing the Blood Harvest campaign. We came across the first of the dead cows.
"Eew. That must stink."
"You know what would make this game better - zombie cows"
"Nah, what they need is a level where you're in a zoo and all the animals have turned into zombies"
So there we go. I bet you feel better for knowing that.
I'll be working on a simple environment where a couple of survivors have locked themselves inside a cage in a zoo to escape from the zombified animals. Still mooting over what exactly, but a lion, orangutan and rhino seem likely at this point. Or maybe a tapir. Everyone loves tapirs.

Also, fucking GREAT idea.
Well, it's a a start. Zombiefied paint over soon.
Probably a little heavy on the asymetrical detail given the constraints. We shall see.
How about making it even more crazier and make the giraffe have like a broken neck right in the middle and the head be dangling upside down. Shit'll look crazy! Arousing....yet crazy....
I did actually consider that, but in the end I decided that I wanted to have the Giraffe reaching its head in through the bars of the cage and trying to grab on of the survivors with its long tongue. Perhaps I'll have a second one with a broken neck. I'll see how it all works compositionally.
