Wonder if you could simplify more and have an arcade machine base with overlayed graphics on the sides/glass.It'd drive up the tri count a bit but save on the end texture usage.

i was gonna do that with some decals/overlays ontop of what i have now to get more variation but i like your idea too ill mess around and see wich way i like more thanks for the heads up bro.
blocked out the scene a little and quickly set up the lighting to see what kind of mood i want to cast in the final render on my lunch break at work :P
the screen on my work computer is really dark also the wooden planks are mid air because the zombies are flooding in and the pushed the wooden planks off its gonna be a very cool shot, ill touch it up to look way nicer after the competition :P

Been fairly busy, so havent been able to spend as much time as I would like on it so far, but here's a texture wip! Still got a fair bit to do and it's a bit rough, but will start another zombie after tomorrow night.
Gotta admit, I've found working at 128 pretty tough! More to come. Oh I guess i'll have to adjust the texture to fit the lighting of the environment as well.
looks cool, definitely reads as Bill. I would suggest more contrast in the texture though.. push the darks a bit darker, he's looking a bit flat right now. If you're having trouble at that small size, grab the pencil tool at a low opacity. it works like the brush but isn't muddy at tiny sizes. I was able to get 4 different props onto a single 128 pretty easily, you just have to be wise about your UVs.
Any reason you guys went after Zombie Bill instead of something more original? (Asking in case the rules made it seem like you had to do incarnations of the L4D cast).
Sup adam no we decided to go with him just as a little joke. Just have him in there with the other zombies, we have more zombies coming dont worry :P massbot is currently working on a new zombie as we speak while i try to get the level art down so i can work on the lighting :P
The machines look nice in the level. will there be incandecent parts in them?
The tree silhouettes on the windows are reading as flat wall pictures instead of an outside area.
perhaps u could add two billboards outside instead.
A foreground poly with alpha trees, a background poly with the blu night sky.
If u made the billboards single TALL tris. That would be parallax fer only 2 tris?
r they already billboards? maybe they need to be pushed further back then?

Gotta tweak the mesh a bit, there's a few things I'm going to fix up before texturing, hands and forearms are bit weird atm.
