Photoshop problem in Vista64

Hey dudes, im suffering from jitter and lag when i try to use my tablet in photoshop on Vista64, iv got a powerful machine so its not hardware. Iv disabled the tabletpc stuff as far as im aware.

has anyone else experienced this and managed to solve it? Shit its so annoying and difficult to draw something like this...argh!

Any unshielded speaker cables or things which might emit electromagnetic radiation anywhere nearby?
Any wireless mouse / keyboards maybe?
Jittering doesn't sound like a driver problem, sounds more like hardware or interference to me.

Hmm yeah i thought about that too, but the problem is, it only happens when i zoom in or go to fullscreen mode (Fx2) :S its freaking me out. btw, this is on photoshop CS3

I've had this exact same issue at work and at home. This thread seems to relieve some of it, but the main issue that I have is that Max defaults your settings to Windows Basic whereas the workaround is to work in Windows Aero.

Oh shit, im using Aero already, but the ruler trick does it for me! woohoo! awesome dude personally i havent experienced any problems in a 3D software yet. Your issue with max might be the TabletPC settings, have you tried disabling yours?

Man, I hate that tablet PC crap. I haven't been having issues with either program, but where do you go to disable the tabletpc settings?

Control Panel>Control Panel Home> Bottom Right, Turn Windows Features On or Off, Scroll down to Tablet PC Optional Components, and turn that off. should do it.

I'm not seeing "Turn Windows Features on or Off" in the Control Panel Home. Can you clarify?

Edit - nevermind, I found it under Programs and Features in the Classic View.
