The only problem i'm finding about the BL head so far is the shape in which you worked on it.
From the looks of it, it appears that you worked in a 'non-perspective' view.
Problem from this overall, is that it always looks like it's in a orthographic screen view/camera. Which takes away a lot of depth in the actual structure of Mr. Lee's face overall.
Fix that up and I think you're in shipshape there'
The edge of his lips curls up slightly...but not on your mesh. Other than that, perfect!
If he was specifically mimicking the middle shot, then yes he should turn the corners of his mouth up a bit more, but I doubt he ran around in that pose, with that exact facial expression all the time. It's perfect, you can stop with the nats ass crits.
Am I the only one who see "rel="Lightbox"?attachmentid=125575" border="0" alt="" class="tcattdimgresizer" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" />" stuff instead of the images?
awesome
i think its true what john says, however I reckon as soon as you put him in a bruce pose, or just take one of his expressions from your ref, it'll come alive.. he's got a very expressive face, for your final pimp shots I would try and capture one of his poses
I would be interested to see what you could get without any use of photo material for the texture. Your model is a very good likeness already, and I feel like it might get 'spoiled' if you use too much of a directional lighting on the texture. It will look fantastic in screenshots, but maybe a bit weird when lights rotate around the head.
Since your likeness is very good on the mesh alone, why not baking a nice, sharp ao pass, and simply paint subtle surface information in the texture (pores, skin blemishes, hue variants). It might look less 'whoah that's real!!' since it wont be based on photograps, but in a way it might also look more alive.
It's a bit hard to explain, hope this makes sense.
(just saw your texturemaps on page 1, I see you are going in that direction already. I would suggest to maybe ease out the remaining photo elements like the shadow on the shin and the highlights under the nose ; also you could try to bake a sharper/tighter AO render to overlay on the diffuse. It might look a bit stylized if overdone, but quite cool still.)
Hey dude, the likeness is getting there, but I'd say darken the skin a bit give it a tan, and as for the eyes darken it and also darken the hair and you got it down

also, awesome start! if this turns out like your last work, we should make a CG movie :P
edit: and can we has full body this time? we know your likeness work is awesome, but from what i've seen you need to work on your anatomy.
and started working at the texture, the hair is just for look, it will be modeled later:
No get that low res modeled and baked!
But the neck, from the front view it looks good, but from the side it's a bit football-playerish. Nit-picking here, cause i gotta find SOME flaw! lol
Started working on the hair:
Thank you for watching
