Hey guys, this is just a pasted ad from the jobs section on our website. Basically, development time is tight right now, and we need a local Vancouver candidate to fill this lighting position for a sports title at Blue Castle Games.

The website lists the position as a 4 Month Contract, and while this is true, as it covers the final stretch of this project, there's definitely consideration for expanding this into a full time position if the contractor's work is great. I stress the local candidate bit, cause we regrettably don't have the time to look outside Greater Vancouver. This position is all about lightmapping using V-Ray inside Max, following artistic direction to achieve a particular lighting style and mood, and handling the second UV channels on meshes and the likes.

If you're available, meet the requirements listed in the ad, and are interested, send an email to the address listed in the ad, or send me a PM if you just want to know more about the position or the company. (Vancouver only, please! Sorry non-local guys.)

PS. When it lists 1+Years experience as a lighter, they don't mean as a dedicated lighter. If you've had a significant amount of lighting experience through your career, but it was never really your job description, we're still interested.
