i thought this was lowpoly with diffuse only, for some reasons you dont seem to be benefiting from normal map effect, and that rust gives a too redish look to the metal that makes it look a weird. The wood could also have some wear details , right now seems that you only have dodged and burned it , also it could benefit from some good ambient oclusion

BUT!
i dont know why people always put THAT much rust on weapons.
people who handle guns and rifles professionally would jam them down your throat!
it is normal that guns get wear and tear over the years of usage, but rust should NEVER! set down on vital parts.
other than that, nicely done! you could have save up some polies on the receiver part above the mag, but for that polycount its pretty decent.

I agree; apart from the rust this is a very nice gun.
Flakes and scratches are nice though same with the wood.
I know that used guns never get rusted, but i think that rust on old guns looks nice.
Hmm...RIS is prabobly my mistake (it block sight indeed), but its realy hard to modyfi the model on this stage.
