ds and wacom tablet makes for interesting viewing

So there I was playing my ds while the computer booted, after booting i just left the ds on and placed it upon my small wacom bamboo thingy-ma-ji. As we all know only wacom pens makes the cursor move, well WRONG!! my cursor went crazy! I havent quite figured it out yet but appears the ds can move it aswell, go on have a go.

If anyone knows why I would love to know

Was the DS's wifi turned on? Tablets are sensitive to EM interference. CRT monitors and cell phones can make tablets act crazy too.
