so yeah, I'm torn, I love rock operas but am I goth enough for this movie? There's been alot of positive buzz about it, i like this quote the best:

In all honesty, it looks like a fun watch, but my hopes were dashed because I thought it was a movie based off of a comic miniseries about clones, repomen repoing clones, and other crazy future shit called Repo: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=9772

I'd been waiting for this movie to come out for close to two years before it's limited theater debut. I was supposed to catch it in a theater in Pennsylvania, but I was five minutes late to the place we were all meeting before we left and no one was there, they left without me because they didn't know if everyone could get a ticket.

So I waited it out and just bought it on dvd, it's pretty good, not great, but pretty good. I'd probably like it alot more if it weren't for all the hype though.

Storyline is amazing, my only wish was that the graverobber had a larger part, I like him.

ok I'm not going to acknowledge any of that as 'rock' (uh, rock opera? didn't see any of that in there), but it certainly looks interesting and I'd give it a watch.

watched this the other day, some interesting visuals but overall none of the music was catchy or even really sounded like rock/songs, just people kinda speaking faster and unevenly. It looks like there was promise but Its trying to hard to be edgy and just kinda falls flat. wouldn't recommend this one fellas, When I saw the trailer I too was hopeful but its just blah with a super predictable story and for a musical it sure doesn't have good music.

Its like if the cool kids put on a play in high school... It looks great, hard to say it sucks completely but they were busy partying instead of nailing down the content, the songs blew.
