Uhm, where is the MMO part? Also, it looks like the worst racing game physics I have seen in a long time, almost comparable to (dare I say it?) big rigs!
Those can't be game physics-- that has to be animated. I am guessing the whole thing is pre-rendered.
Anyway, the video is pretty bad. It makes sense though to work with your team, and so I think it is cool that they are making a game focused on the Chinese market.
If I'm not mistaken, that's Ken Wong's artwork again, in those concepts. I'm a fan of his stuff, and I think this actually looks really nice. I haven't seen the trailer yet, mind you, but given how regularly they release their Grimm episodes, they probably haven't had very much time to put into this yet, so I'm not expecting anything polished.
edit: The characters don't respond to any movement yet, and pivot from the middle, as if they had no wheels. This is obviously because it's a work in progress. Ignoring that, how lovely does the rest look? I like the look of it, so far.
or, as American says: "Keep in mind that presently there are NO physics on any of the vehicles in the video - thats just a rough animation to show the art style in-engine."
This looks like an interesting concept, for only 3 months work. Even more due to the fact they plan on using the Unreal 3 Engine for development. I'd assume they'd use something less hardware demanding for the stylistic approach. Ken Wong's art style is great. I love seeing new visual styles in games. I know there are a few MMO racing games available, some popular in Korea. This could be one that tops them all in a global release. If not for Zero Gear. :P
I think he's released some 7 Grimm episodes so far, so check those out. I've yet to play them, sadly. Odd how everyone seems to have missed those, I take it there was very little press-coverage?
Why the hell release such a bad quality video then? While some one used to the business will clearly cross a line between what is looking good and what is clearly looking as early development stuff, the big public will just say it is bad and forget about it. For me, the art is great, but hope the gameplay gets also interesting.
i played the first one, very nicely done but the gameplay was pretty simplistic.. it looked like the others might be more of the same so I didn't follow on

i clearly see WIP in the bottom of the screen. and i would hardly comepare this to big rigs.
also I love American McGee's games, they're always interesting, and not the same OL' bald space marine.
This is a cool take on the racing genre.

Yeah, I love the art.
As always Ken Wong's style oozes awesome.
As for what happened to Grim, the first episode came out in June or July.
