The mud could use some work. Logically I'm not sure how his feet and beard would stay so clean when his ass and upper legs are so dirty?
The materials could use some work, I understand you're going for a cartoon-ish look but that doesn't always mean paint-bucket-fill. Both the mud and the skin could use some small amounts of detail and still keep the cartoon look but ditch the paint bucket feel.
