Thought I would share some of my sketchbook from when I was working on the game. These were mostly lunch sketches to get things sorted before starting on the models, I was up to 1 level a day for about 5 weeks including concept, modeling, lighting and textures.
Most of the environments in the finished game are mine with the downtown area being done by Paul Marshall and Kate Kuttler.

Concept work looks great too, nice solid style lots of mood and atmosphere to them Always been a sucker for inked work like this though
Just noticed the comment about the 1 level being made a day: how big was each level? It's pretty impressive to get that kind of workflow going
also another trailer went up, better image quality: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QkPOu7CzLw"]trailer[/ame]

Shepiro - Yeah I havnt been posting much for awhile anywhere. Mostly I'm spending my free art time working on educational and promoting internal art community stuff at work.
Japi - I dont know offhand i'd guesse 6-700
rollin - Because eating and drawing at the same time is easier than using a mouse and eating. And I can do it away from the office.
Jackablade - For the most part it was just reusing everything I could and automating as much as possible. This was only possible since the game was sidescrolling. Most of the areas that seem to have alot of depth were actually easier than many of the enclosed rooms since I could rely on more painted or simple distance models.
