Hi polycounters, does anyone know of any tips to increase rendering speed for 3ds max using just a default sky light and 20 shadow rays. It seems to take for ever to render even the most basic of scenes. I have no other lights set up in the scene and Im using noting but difuse bitmaps for textures.
Other than lowering the number of rays cast ( and this makes the scene look like ass) what can I do? Thanks for any help you can lend.
