Ok, first of all, the title of the thread might be a bit misleading: I've only created a very small part of the armor, which is still a wip. I do intend to create the full character based on that concept eventually, but... I suppose it's not gonna be any time soon to be honest.
So, as you can see I'm currently working on the shoulderpad with the golden wolf's head. I'm a relative newbie on Zbrush, so along with my polycount special (the crits) I'd like some tips if possible...
Right now, as you can also see, I've got no idea on how to make a clean line/hard edge in zbrush. For the hairs where the head ends and the armor begins I've just used negative standard brush which I then smoothed over on the armor, and smoothed half the hair strands so as to make them look "edged" in the middle.. If that makes any sense.
Anyway, how would you do the hairs in order to make them seem a bit separate from the armor?
