Grab a paper business card and put it under your hand. Where the meaty part of your hand meets the wacom plastic. No more dragging from the friction between your hand and the board. It's very smooth.
You can also get some cheap (free if you're lucky!) photograph development gloves. With all fingers cut out it works nicely! I don't think the pinky part is that necessary on the smudgegard glove. Ordered one anyways haha
I agree with Joopson. I have been using wool fingerless gloves (made that way) from the army navy store for about 3years now and they work great on my Intuos 3 tablet. Plus you can wash them too and you don't have to have a weird thing over your pinky finger.

so thats what that feelin of insecuriy and unease came from all these years
talk about frustrating! do you know how long it took me to find a left-handed wacom tablet?! it looks the same as a regular one, but it cost me $100 more.

Where did you find one? Are they smart about placing the touch strips. I keep nudging the left touch strip on mine when I go for the tools in photoshop. Anyone know a way to disable the touch strips?
A business card would drive me crazy since I remove my hand completely too often from the tablet.. I use, as some have mentioned above, woolen gloves with the fingertips cut off. Also keeps my hands warm when the AC at the office is being a sodding over-achiever..
