Salary in Shanghai China 3D Artist?

ok my wife wants to move back home maybe sometime down the road,
she wants to be closer to her family,
also would rather raise our kid when in china when we have one,
she can transfer back home with her accounting firm with her current salary here,
but 1 question i have is what is the average salary in shanghai china for 3d artist,
im worried it may not be as good as here,
but the cost of living over there is cheaper,
i know epic is over there and massive black and ubisoft as well midway and few others,
i know a few local companies say they hire from overseas,
just wondering how hard of a time i will have finding a job there and salary wise,
im guessing this will be a hard question to answer,Thanks,Chris

If salary wasnt much lower than in USA then why would they have branches there?
Average annual wage in USA in 2002 was $36,764 and in China in 2006 was $2,025.
It propably isnt 18 times lower for videogame artists but still quite bad i would imagine.
I imagine they would pay okay, since they likely have a lot of ties with America (the country) still. That's a lot of 'imagine's and 'likely's, but worth looking into, no?
