Only because we (or maybe just me) want to meet and not battle 520 bridge traffic yet still meet at a decent hour.

And Diminished Self, quit hatin on the east side, we got more game studios and some damn good restaurants. No place is more yuppy than Belltown, and it's not like the douchey emo hipsters on Capitol Hill are any better. I don't get this East Side-West Side hate, both sides have their own greatness.

ahhh...im not hating on the east side for real. i just happen to live in seattle proper, and ride a motorcycle which ive since put away for the winter. you think coming this way is bad? shit son try going that way on a bus!
ill concede the point that no place is more yuppie than belltown...with the caveat that on any given night 90% of the yuppies that infest that place are from somewhere else (not seattle).

Naw man I know you weren't really hating on the east side, I just went off on a tangent of my own because I know a lot of people who really do feel that way, even a few on polycount. The point I was trying to make about douchey emo hipsters is every area has douches in their own way, whether they be douchey yuppies, hipsters, rednecks, frat boys, etc. Again it wasn't meant as defensive towards your joking comments but just more asking if people understood why there's a bit of animosity between the two sides of the lake. It's deep seated and it's been around for decades so I was just curious why.

I can do weekends sometimes, but mostly I goto Portland to see my girl, or she comes here. But it's possible I could squeeze in a weekend meet here or there.
