Anyone got some interesting stuff happen outside their window while working?
I work off a high traffic street in Bellevue, WA, and there's a cop who catches at least 4 speeders every day. When he's having a bad day he'll get on the mic and yell "PULL OVER!!", usually he just hits the siren BWOOP BWOOP. Every time I hear it I think "another one bites the dust".

Btw(i do independant study(where i get my work and go home and finish it iin 2 weeks then take it back)So i am home all day, thats a big deal for me, cuz i have alot of friends in the netherlands and japan and shit)
This was taken just below my window at work not that long ago. Normally there's 1-2 foot drop down to the creek/slough, on the other side of the bushes/trees to the right. The whole business park is on stilts and this happens every once in a while (so they say). Lots of cool equipment all over the place to manage the water. Lots of rabbits too...
They're painting the exterior of the building so my windows are covered in plastic... wee...
We even had a semi take the other exit ramp too fast, and fell over onto the rails (that ramp actually has one).
Now, I work in a lab with no windows I have no idea what the sun looks like anymore
asside from that my little office plaza is REALLY dead. Theres a ihop and a italian place next door and a sprint store repair next door to that. but really just really quiet and slow here
lucky!
Other than that, directly across the street is a "Barber Shop" that we believe is really just a front for drug sales. The "barber" looks like someone out of Scarface, and he spends most of the day out front kicking a socker ball around doing tricks and such. Then someone shows up, they go inside for a little while, the person leaves (not looking any more well-groomed), then he resumes kicking the soccer ball around out front.
Other than that, the occasional bum fight is usually entertaining.
The gym for my company is right outside the door of our lab... unfortunately, since it's engineering, there are 98% guys in there... and in the bathroom taking showers afterward
..and to my right I can just make out the Havant Hockey pitch- many of the gold winning British Hockey team in the 80's trained over there
Whilst at Rockstar Leeds, there is a road that leads off the B road from a roundabout- some taxi drivers use it to get to the hotel in the business park or to cut a corner out to get to either the local motorway or to the southern part of West Yorks.
Anyways, during a few late-ish nights, one of the fun things to watch are the taxi drivers come haring round this roundabout, go down this smaller road leading to the park and then not notice the traffic humps in the road... I think I'd seen at least half a dozen taxis and other cars buckle wheels or just completely bollocks up their suspension as they tried to go over them full pelt
for the last time, stay the hell away from my window!
Another time, three of us were standing around, and an older woman was walking into the bank. She must have been oblivious to the curb because she tripped over it into a delightfully wicked faceplant. She managed to create a sizable pool of blood before the ambulance showed up. Plenty of people ran out of the bank to help her and she seemed fine afterwords regardless of the fantastic face juice she accomplished.
I'm just happy to have a window while I have one.
win.
