I am unsure of what my issue is with my uv space. Here is an example. I am using Max2009.
My uv space when i place my texture to show in the uv box shows up fine. On my object in the viewports though the texture wont show. This happens when my uvs are in the 0to1 box. The only way I can get my textures to show in the viewports is if I scale the crap out of my uv space going about 150 times outside the 0to1 space. Does anyone know why this is occuring??
Also in the texture coordinates options box for tiling it defaults to 48 I have to go in and change it to 1 for it to show up properly. I am pulling my hair out trying to work around this. Help! Thanks.

Try resetting the scene, then reset the material editor slots, and save maxstart.max in the Max root folder. Everytime you start Max it will use the settings in that file.
