Recommended free burning software?

I've been using Nero for years, but I'm tired of its poorly designed interface, and would like to try out some free alternatives. Any recommendations?

edit: For future questions like these, try searching lifehacker.com. They regularly have something they call the 'hive five', where their readers nominate programs, and then they make a poll out of the top five. There wasn't one on dvd-burning, but they still had quite a few articles about dvd-burning software. Always worth a look.
