Photoshop brushes in GIMP.

    I should probably clarify that it doesn't actually convert brushes. It takes the 'brush tip shape' and makes a bog-standard gimp brush using that image, so any jitter, rotation, scaling, dual-brush, etc... settings are lost.

    Also, from that thead:
    the script in the opening post is outdated and for an older version of GIMP. Perhaps you could try putting the photoshop brushes into your brushes folder -- the latest version of GIMP is supposed to be able to use them without conversion.

    Which I haven't tried (because err.. why should I?), but it may be worth a try for opensource enthusiasts. Unless things changed drastically, I can't see that working out too well, but can't hurt to try.
