This is my first attempt at anything like this, I've never entered a competition like this before. I thought it would be a nice challenge for me and a good chance for me to increase my abilities and get a little more experience. Anyway I'm gonna give it my best shot.

I choose the concept by Jamie Jones entitled "meat". Why u ask. Well basically I thought it looked cool, and thought it was an excellent starting place for something evil. I think I'm gonna go with a Bee's nest kinda theme, with maybe a little H.R. Giger inspiration thrown in there, I'm sure it'll grow alot more from there once I start painting.

I'll be posting my paint over concept hopefully sometime tonight.

Here's my first pass at my concept design for the challenge, it's composed of 3 H.R. Giger images, the concept I choose and a quik paint over. It's still in the early stages so I'm sure once I start modeling it, the brain juices will start flowing more and the ideas will start pouring out, but for now this is the overall idea of what I'm going for. I've never entered anything like this before, so I hope all goes well. Critiques please.
