Ok so I am using maya right now and am curious how to create a model that look similar to this:
(this is a piece by madPXL, hopefully he doesnt mind me referencing this)
So far I have come up with this:
now basically I just need to know how to fix the luminosity and texture placements but im not sure how. My textures are pixel snapped perfect in the UVeditor but still so up out of place. I've searched throughout maya and cannot find the proper things i should be changing.
Any help would be muchly appreciated, thanks!

In 3dsmax its view > mode > flat
or in the material -> 100% self illumination and then visible best in the rendering
maybe should have something equal just different labeled and different to setup
- Lighting > Use No Lights
- Shading > Hardware Texturing > Set to Unfiltered
