Didn't see that there was ever a thread on this show, but I finally checked it out after hearing so many people recommending it. This show is great, awesome writing, hilarious situations, very skillful acting and some of the best characters in a sitcom I've ever seen. I gotta say, the more and more I watch it, the more and more I'm likening it as the new Seinfeld, the characters are very finicky and the way the stories play out, genius.

I've been checking out the episodes on hulu.com, I recommend it whole-heartedly.

When I manage to catch it, I've loved it. But since the TV gets so little of my attention I've missed a lot of it. Have they released any of the seasons on DVD yet? I bet Hulu has a few of them?

I think the show really took off once Danny DeVito joined the cast in Season 2.
And it's great to see how the character develop in a way. Throughout the season you can see Sweet D become more and more like the guys. Early on she was somewhat the voice of reason within the crew. But she totally changes through the 2nd and 3rd seasons. Dennis gets even more and more vain. Hahaha. Jesus... he took his shirt off a lot in season 3.

It's been a while since I've seen season 1 and 2... but I think i'd rank season 2 as the funniest. For some reason I didn't find season 3 as funny. I think the writing peaked in season 2 and sort of plateaued for season 3. They're really going to have to come up with some really, really crazy shit for season 4 to stay fresh. 'Cause after a while you can kind of expect what they're going to do.

I totally disagree with you on Danny DeVito. I thought that season 1 was perfect, and when they added him in season 2, it made the show unbalanced. Some of my favorite episodes are from season 2, but I basically feel that anytime Danny is on screen is time taken away from Charlie. And that makes me sad. They scaled him back a bit in season 3 thankfully and hope they keep it that way.

I totally agree with you about season 3. A few good episodes but way too many bad/mediocre ones. They started having Fred Savage (yes THAT Fred Savage) write and direct some episodes and what do you know? His episodes are the worst ones. Booo!

I've also seen Mac and Sweet D twice at my local Target store. Mac drives a small black Toyota pickup BTW.
