I made it to the top 10 now just need to get people to rate my video compared to the others. I was the only one to use 3d that I created. Will be forever grateful for those that rate me 5*s. This 2.6ghz P4 isnt doing the job anymore when trying to model those high poly objects hah.
Sorry for the shameless plug.:poly122:

because err... superior picture clarity... blowing away the competition? Not in my experience. I'm sad that ati isn't doing so well, because they're certainly nvidia's equal in many regards, but your video did nothing but irritate me with it's condescending marketing lingo.

Aside from that it's pretty solid. The explosion seems a bit "sprite-y" if you get what I mean, but the general standard of work is good. You might wanna work on the anatomy of the guy on the bike a bit more, though, as at the moment he looks a bit comic-y, and maybe a touch too big on the bike, take a look at this picture to see what I mean:
Take a look at his size and positioning on the bike. With a few minor tweaks yours could look a lot more realistic and hence a lot better.
Good luck in the competition though!

Yeah the explosion was created with afterburn with transparent background and slapped over the other footage in after effects. Unforunatley I stumbled upon this contest in about the last week it was due, couldn't afford the rendering time to render both explosion and scene together on this pos computer.
