Wolfsbane Chasm is a turning point in a game where things get a bit strange.

In this particular world humans live in harmony with plants( plants being living animal like creatures as well as normal plants) they maintain them and they in return provide them with food and stuff.

the plant creatures that usually are friendly become aggressive towards the people and creatures that inhabit this world. You play a warrior which is sent out to find out what's going on by seeking the leaders of the plant like creatures, unfortunately you don't know if they even exist since the only reason you know about them is because the elders of the villages have past on stories about them. In you quest you will combat plant creatures until you end up at Wolfsbane Chasm, this is a ruined temple/church like building. There you'll see a glow, which should can't you attention. the floor above the main entrance has collapsed and the glow is coming from the floor above. you'll have to find a way get up there, when you do manage to get up there you'll see some alien machinery with glow bits and what not. you'll need to figure out how to turn it on, you won't have much of a choice since you're exit will be filled with an overwhelming mass of creatures and the other way out is to jump off and fall to you death. if you go up to the higher floor you'll see a glowing cable when yo interact with it it'll turn everything on and the structure,portal' will lift and begin to spin giving out an even bigger glow. jump in it yay that's over.

turns out aliens have come to destroy this world and the plants need you to take them out. they've been preparing you for what's to come. here you'll fight alien like creatures which will over power you and your blade don't have much affect on them. they will take you out, you'll wake up and they'll be talking their alien language saying your race is pathetic then they'll throw you out a shoot. you'll fall be caught by plants they'll drag you to a cavern of some sort. here you'll meet the one of three plant leaders. they will offer you plant like weapons which you'll use to combat the aliens.

The character you play is Matakam which is some dude that's a cross between GOW and Prince of Persia. He can run on wall and swing from objects using the blade he wields by his arms. he'll also be able to use other various weapons to combat enemies.
