brush is invisible in cs2

quick question here guys. My work copy of photoshop cs2 is acting strange atm. I cant see the size of my brush for some reason. i can see what setting its at in the brush menu, but when i'm physically painting its invisible. kinda comes and goes though, very annoying.

do you accidentally hit Caps Lock a lot? Caps lock will chage the brush from the outline to the little crosshair.

yea, that'd do it. all orders have to be put in caps before i start a project so i didnt even think twice about it. thanks

I remember that happening to me in the past, I forget how I got around it, I think it just went away, probably when I did something else totally unrelated like shutting down things running in the background, and updating out of date video drivers.

Might want to update your Tablet driver if you use one.

A coworker and I was just discussing this the other day, both having the same thing every now and then. I normally just restart Photoshop, and it usually fixes it.
