Here's my Concept:
I wanted to place more focus on the background. I felt that the foreground takes up too much of the image on the original.

Started blocking it out in 3D...My goal is get the same mood as the concept, but I am also changing it a little to make it feel more like a level. The bip in the render is 6 feet.

Update:
First test in max, 2nd in Unreal (I'm still learning that) The textures are 1024, but I think I need to go 2048.

Nice start.. Im gona prolly be using UT3 as well for the final 3D set up, lighting and rendering. Same boat..still learning it to.

Ok. I started over on the cave. The spec looks to high in unreal, but I am not sure if I can edit that in the unreal material...
