second image isn't showing up for me.
The torsor is looking good though! It's funny, doing a 3d pass at this concept has crossed my mind as well.
Looking forward to the progress!
Very nice- I love the variety of materials you have. (takes mental note, and saves to inspiration folder)*
its probably because it isnt fleshed out in full yet, but it seems like his upper torso is HUGE compared to his lower half. what does your base mesh look like out of curiosity?
love it so far, Omega red is a cool character, I love your friend's take on it as well even though I imagine him as being a lot "Chunkier" (bigger set character in the chest/arms)
your model is looking excellent so far, great detail I still think it looks a little "light" at the moment, something in the legs/torso
thanks for the comments. i will post up my base body soon, so that you can check out the proportions. usually i work on the whole character at once to keep everything in check, but since i was working off of a base body and with a detailed concept, i thought i would just focus on one area at a time
Looking great but your forearms feel short to me which causes the whole arm to feel short. This is something I've noticed on all of your models. It could be a stylistic preference though. I love all of the detail. Can't wait to see it finished.
BoBo_the_armpolice: thanks. i did some overall tweaking of the proportions. the arms are bent at about a 30 degree angle at the elbow, so when i straighten them out to his sides, the hands seem to fall at the right part of his leg.
Deathhead: I still haven't decided what sort of detailing to end up with on the arms, so that line isn't permanent
What I see could almost be a woman's body, reminds me of Milla Jovovich. The arched lower back.
By the way, I own the Gold set of these cards Hell I still have all of my old comic cards! :poly136:
omg nice find, I used to have the same set.... unfortunately they were lost when I left my home country I loved the art in those cards, and that is generally how I pictured most of the xmen (omega included)
thanks for the blast from the past, much love.

also pertaining to the model. looking slick as hell, cannot wait to see your take on the head.
keep up the brilliant work.
I have the honor of sitting in the same office as this Red dood and I for one would love to see more updates. Who's with me? C'mon Miller, hook us up with more updates nub.
