Please Help w/ rigging

Does anyone know where i can find a tutorial where it teaches you how to insert bones into your character? I watched Poopinmymouth's rigging tutorial I just dont know how to get the bones working for my character thnx

I personally really like biped, and puppetshop both have kind of a crazy workflow, but once you get used to them, you'll find them both really powerful and quick. There's nothing wrong with learning how to build your own rig from scratch using bones and I wouldn't want to discourage you from doing it since its pretty much the foundation for rigging.
