Anyone else excited about this game?
Oh, I'm sure an FF fighting game is going to be lame. I could actually care less about what they decide to do about the gameplay.
But I'm totally excited about the updated designs for some of the really old Final Fantasy characters. And how they're finally going to be re-done in 3d.
Awesome. I totally love it. I love that ultra clean "Kingdom Hearts" execution to their textures. The best part is how they're remaining faithful to Amano's old concepts for the older characters. And you get to see the progression of the art style of the franchise.

But seriously, those are some really nice looking desgins of them old-school characters, and I agree, it's so amazing how they're keeping with a lot of Amano's original design.
And who knows? Maybe the gameplay will actaully be good too.

I was just thinking that. But I have no idea where my copy is. I may have to resort to buying it again somewhere. Hah PS3 plays PS1 games, correct? Or does that only apply to downloaded PS1 games off of PSN? I'll have to check later tonight.
