2D Flash Programmer/Designer - Brisbane Australia
The Creative Assembly, a wholly owned subsidiary of SEGA, has an exciting opportunity for a contracted Flash Programmer/Designer at their Australian studio. The successful applicant will have the chance to work on The Creative Assemblys ambitious new console/PC title and be part of a dynamic, world class team.
As a Flash Programmer/Designer, you will be contracted to work at the studio for a period of approximately three months and responsible for producing high quality front-end GUI.
It is essential that you have the following skills and experience:
- Expert knowledge of CS3 (Flash, Photoshop)
- In-depth knowledge of Flash ActionScript 2.0
- Flash animation experience.
- Creation of custom Flash controls experience.
- Ability to clearly visualise projects from concept to final design.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Well-organised and able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills; must be able to communicate creative concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Highly desirable:
- Experience with other programming languages.
Additionally, the following will be considered advantageous:
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for the games industry and/or digital media.
- Experience in digital illustration, iconography, UI or screen layout.
- A qualification in graphic design or related field.
