Please take a look at my latest game. It's a 2d bullet-hell shmup about the life of a beryllium atom. It was created with Torque Game Builder over the course of about 2 months.
Ahh cool, I remember you pimped a very early verysion a while back. Too bad there isn't a Linux port, but I will try it with "WINE". (Edit: sound works but the rest is just a black screen <- with WINE on Linux)
JKMakowka - thanks for the Linux test, that's a pity it doesn't work. Torque actually supports Linux but I don't have Linux machine myself to compile and test it on.
Man, this game rules. It took a while to get a grasp on exactly how it works, but now I'm having a ton of fun with it. I just can't get past that stupid micro black hole...
I love how the music's implemented, too. I've always thought music tends to have too small a part in most games, even if it takes up a lot of space.
Thanks Rox - the trick with the black hole is to fire off one shield as soon as it starts shooting and rush up close to it, then stay close and grab the quarks. You should actually gain health in that stage by collecting quarks. Just zig-zag like in the YouTube movie.
Yeah, I can get past it quite frequently actually, I mixed up bosses. I'm more stuck on the one after that that I can't remember the name of. The antimatter guy. The black hole I think is easier than the first boss...
Ace little game, I have a fondness for fundamental particle physics .
Little nags :
No Pause .
A simple parallax effect on the BG to add depth would greatly help the visuals.

I remember seeing this a while ago when it was in development. It's become a nice title, good work on it man, and congrats on a great release.
