I was initially excited about the prospect of this movie but that's died away somewhat by the cg looking almost identical to RE2's, I'm guessing that's deliberate and would make the die-hard's happy but I'd rather they went all out with visual fidelity.

this is the way more game movies should be adapted..

instead of trying to cast celebs who ultimately don't look, act or sound like the charaters..

Great looking action, horrible looking facial expressions and subtle animations, made for the fans, this is Advent Children for the RE series. Should be cool to see Leon in action, RE4 was badass.

I'm personally very much a fan of the original games and storyline, RE 1-3 basically, much more so than I am of the RE games that have come out in the more recent years. This movie definitely has that old-school RE vibe to it. I like.

Christ those animations were painful to watch. Not looking forward to this one too much, it seems like they tried far too hard to be true to the source, and in the process accidentally made a generic Hollywood action film.

Yes indeed the facials dont look that good, The trailers was indeed hollywood style, only the lyric " come with me if you want to live" was needed. But I love RE surtainly the old ones.
