I'd like some feedback on the design. Did a minimal bit of HTML wrangling, though there isn't much to crit I guess since it's hosted on wordpress and the template don't leave a lot of wiggle room.

The thumbnails aren't linked yet, but they'll probably just be links to full size jpgs. Oh, and I'll be phasing out my old art soon, since it hasn't gotten me the jobs I want yet...Maybe I should move out to California? XD

Looks great Snowfly... nice and to the point and very clean. The only issue I noticed was the 3D section has a strange offset that shifts all the frames when clicked (the Resume and 2D sections retain the same positioning). Also, will you be linking the title button to anything other than the 2d section?

Also, to keep it to just the small handful of colors you have, perhaps the framing on the images could be more like the orange header text of 'Summary', etc in your resume page instead of the golden color it currently has.

You've got some really awesome work up there; can't wait to see it working with the full images. I like how minimalistic it is; I'd say it's very effective for its purpose.

I think the site is great. I was just mad I couldnt click on the thumbs to view the full image because they all look so good. Obliviously you are planning on doing that already so no crits here.

i've got the same bug as kovac has. other than that it's a pretty solid presentation
the thumbs look awesome! can't wait to see the full images.

the 3d stuff looks a bit weak compared to your 2d work though.

Kovac/Sa74n - that bug is the scroll bar. If there was more content on the 3D page then it would have a scroll bar too.

You can fix that in CSS to overflow the scroll bar though.

W00t! Sorry, no full images yet.

Could you guys on Opera check the layout again? I added line breaks every third image, it should wrap properly now. I was counting on the folks at Wordpress to at least check that their templates are cross browser friendly.

And yeah the concept art page is a bit long. I suppose the thumbs could be smaller. Thanks for spotting the off-orange border color, it is a bit painful on the eyes.

Ruz: You just need to click on "Write a New Page" instead of "Write a New Post"

-update- Trying out smaller thumbnails to shorten the page. I miss the presence of the larger thumbnails though. What do you think?

-Divided art into Illustration and Concept Art sections. Gotta trim down the concept art section...
-Shrunk the thumbnails to 90x250 from 150x420 (!!)

I kind of miss the large thumbnails though. What do you guys think?

I liked the large thumbs, but you've got so much quality content that it's a long scroll if you go with them. The quality looks pretty even (evenly good mind), so a lot of folks will likely 'next button' their way through everything -- so having large thumbs won't be as important.

Looks great, can't wait for the thumbnails to lead somewhere

Either that, or I need to seriously start killing my babies. There's something charming about a portfolio with only a handful of top quality pieces in it, but I don't know if my work qualifies as top quality...

Also, I dumped all the thumbs back into one page. The line between finished art and the concept art I left in is a bit fuzzy so I won't bother distinguishing between em.

I dunno...i'm really diggin the large thumbs. Like people have been saying...it's a nice teaser. They just make me want to click them all, so i can see all the other coolness going on in there. great work man!

I liked the large thumbs, but this size works too. I think, though, that you could play with a wider content area, especially with the thumbnails being so tall. On a 1650-wide display, the thumbs area takes up less than a third of the screen, and I have to scroll quite a fair bit to see everything. Maybe make it wider, or have it stretch to the window width (with padding)?
