Unreal 3 Viewport "Seeing realtime animation" problem

I'm stuck. What im trying to get working in UE3 is custom character animation.

But , first im trying to make it work well with the already complete chracters in the Generic window.

I have soldier guy here standing in the middle of the viewport and what im trying to do is apply a premade animation to him.

I dont know how to do it.

An instructor of mine has a character set up about the same way only his moves in the view port i guess when he presses the realtime preview. But when I press mine it doesn't move at all.

I have a screenshot to show the open Generic window with the Premade UT characters and some "Animsets" that seem valuable.

If anyone can direct me on how I can apply a premade animation onto him so i can see him moving in realtime that would be great.

Thank you very much

A tutorial on how to Take a character with a Custom Rig, Custom Animation, baking them then bringing them into Unreal and playing that animation in real time would be Golden to me right now. It seems like I can't find a soul in at my college who can help me

Check out the Unreal VFX on eat3d.com. It costs 60 dollars though.. but I believe they go through everything except for getting the animation stuffs out of a 3d package.. and they go through a lot of other stuff too. They baasically show you how to import it in and playing it.

I could look for you but I wont be home for another 5 days so ya...

EDIT: Did you check this thread out?
