Anyone just feel that? 5.6 on the scale apparently. I'm in irvine on the top floor of a 15 story. I've never been in an earthquake before. Quite the experience!

Yea in covina here ack! - just felt an aftershock i think sry- called my wife, she was fine, had a smoke and back to work i guess. Man its been a while since an earthquake has shaken me up.

Seriously though, I hope everyone is okay. I rode out a hurricane once...they make a mess of things...but at least you see them coming.

Yay, my first earthquake since I moved down here in Feb!
We're in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa on the second floor of an office building. I thought it was a large truck rumbling by at first, by the time I thought to go stand in a doorway it was over. We had some action figure casualties and monitors falling over(nothing broken), but that's about it.

Im kinda hoping its not a precursor to that giant LA destroying quake that we're supposedly overdue for here on the san andreas fault.

Little earthquakes tend to come after big earthquakes, not the other way around. So if the 5.6 wasn't it, it's less likely that a big one will hit very soon.

I too thought this was about the person Earthquake. . .
