CCM261 AiV Male Model

Hi all, this is my first real attempt at modeling a human character. I'm no longer working on it, but I would like to have some crits as to improve my future models smile.gif

I'm not sure what the size restrictions are on this forum, so I've linked the pics.

Good for the first attempt but he's got flat hands. See what I mean here:

Also the head is a bit too big if this is a realistic character.

that's some crazy flow on the side of the head, get rid of all those quads in the spiral, they arent adding to anything.

The hands Look really small / thin, thumbs don't come off the hand like that - checkout some reference or study your own a bit closer :) The arms are also too thin compared with the rest of the body.

How old is he ment to be? Looks quite young clothed, then you've given him a muscly toned body - dunno just looks a bit odd.

Not bad for a first go, for future model's of a similar nature, gather more reference and study the anatomy closer, life drawing would benefit you also.

    Good luck :)
