Hi everyone.
Recently I have been watching many hours of video tutorials and decided to model something simple for practice. I basically made wall with two pipes (top and bottom). I also wanted to make it so I could repeat it as much as I need (I think it is called a prop but correct me if I'm wrong.)
Please critique.

then woot.. you can build a whole level of these!
My next step is to start making some textures so if anyone has ideas for overall themes please let me know.
Here it is.
In Max i'd select what i'd want to unwrap like lets say the pipe. The go to UVWmap, do a cylindrical UV map on it then go to UVWunwrap and tweek the UVs if needed and put them in the space you need them.
Or you could get slick and just do a Multi/Sub Object Map and then there is now real UV tweaking, atleast not for a Wall like that.
And then once you get the hag of it you can just duplacte the wall around and pull out something like
in about 30 minutes.
And i can go into more detail for that if you'd like..if you are using Max.
None the less ur Wall is looking slick, with some textures you can call it done and make a hallway out of it and then just add props.
I can take some screegrabs if that would help more.
